Due to the stability of the latest release of Publisher, it was extremely easy to accomplish all of the features that SceneDDL previously had, and consequently the autoposter is now up and running at http://beta.xldr.net/. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome. We're also accepting new filehosts. Sharebee is planned.
Current features:
XVID/MVID/MP3/TV Posting

Expandable releases on front page, displaying ALL release content.

xldr Publisher 1.0.3585.32810 (Beta 5)
xldr Publisher 1.0.3585.32810 (Beta 5) is now available for download.
For those unfamiliar with what Publisher is, it was released as "xldr beta 4" around a month ago. For those of you still unfamiliar with what Publisher is, it r soopa awsum autoposter softwarez.
I will give the same warnings I did last time: It isn't a "Double click for SceneDDL" application. It isn't for the technically inept. Read the readme thorougly before attempting use.
If you are interested in making Plugins or Scripts, all of the relevant documentation can be found within the Docs folder. There is now a sample plugin in the form of the xldr.Databases.MySql plugin source code, which can be found within the Docs folder. There is also a sample Script based plugin (WordPress publisher) which can be found within the Scripts folder.
I am more than happy to offer any assistance you may require on IRC (irc.anotherp2p.net #SceneDDL), however if it becomes clear that you've made no attempt at reading the readme file then I'll probably gline you.
The latest documentation can be found online at http://xldr.net/docs/.

xldr
Anti-confusion helper:
xldr - The website where releases are published
Publisher - The publishing software powering xldr
Notifier - The notification software that shows pres in the corner of the screen.
So, xldr is well on the track to being ready before christmas (my predictions are awesome). While the site could technically be up and running within about 20 seconds, I don't want the site to be considered "finished" until it has at least the same features that the SceneDDL site provided. Alas, between xldr, notifier, and publisher, it is proving to be a big multi tasking jigsaw.
We learned a lot from the last attempt at upgrading the site (SceneDDL Beta). While the new site is partially based on the SDL Beta code, the user interface has been completely redesigned. It incorporates the best features of the old Wordpress site, the old Beta site, and some new features.
The Popular Releases/Voting system is gone. Completely gone. While the theory behind it was good, it was an unnecessary step in the wrong direction which has been rectified. Instead it has been replaced with a simple Latest Releases page (much like WP SDL). The latest releases page is simply an expandable list of all the latest releases. Expanding a release will display all associated information and links (yay, no more page switching). For those of you who (for whatever insane reason) don't have javascript enabled, you will be taken to the release's Permalink page instead of having it expand. RSS will also contain links.
I'm aware some of you may not like the new simplistic style, which is why I will be retrofitting the old Wordpress theme as an optional "Classic" mode at some point.
Comments and Links are still separated into different categories. You still have to register to post them. The tagging system is also being retained as it is far superior to categories.
All of this, however, requires that Publisher gets some love once in a while. I can't recall the last time I worked on it, so that will also be put on the to do list. I'll also be making a torrent plugin for those that use uTorrent/rTorrent. Users of torrentflux are silly and need to see the error of their ways (and then shot if necessary). Publisher will still be public. Publisher will still not be open source, stop asking.
Notifier will also be getting an upgrade at some point. Currently, the main objective is redoing the user interface to make it less complicated. Vista/7 users will also have pointless Aero features cause I was bored one day. There is also a plan (thanks to Mite) to add Trace/Brace alerts.
I believe that is all for now.

Beta Offline
Attn idiots: SceneDDL still exists, it is just the beta that is gone.
The beta is now offline until further notice. Thank you for your extended co-operation during my nazi-style forced testing. In celebration of your patience, I've enabled crazy-caching on the main site. You should notice the speed improvement if you're on anything higher than dial-up.

RSS, Servers and Beta Revisions
We're testing the news system. Comments relating to this post should be submitted here.
Additionally, work will be starting soon on an open source project called xldr (from the word Transload). Anyone who is skilled enough will be able to contribute. I'll leave it to your own speculations as to what this project will be, although it's pretty obvious. Damn, remind me to add emotes to this editor (INSERT :-P EMOTE).
- News posting (with Anonymous commenting) is now enabled.
- RSS is now enabled and can be found at /RSS.ashx
- We've ordered a new server from a seperate provider. Some of you may be aware that our current new server was not as awesome as previously anticipated. The network upstream is capped at rougly 500kb/s, which means we've been having to upload on the old server for quite some time.
- Font sizes have been tweaked so they should be the same size for everybody.

Forced Beta, Part 2
Yes, we're meanies with our forced beta.
Changes:
Also, some people were asking for an advanced search last time when there has been one for quite some time. The advanced option based search can be accessed via google-style keywords in the form of “OPTION:VALUE”
This is for constructive feedback only. Posts consisting of "Bawwww, i dont like it, it fucking sucks, im autistic and afraid of change" will be ignored.
Changes:
Theme tweakage should make it more compatible for people running lower resolutions.
Raised the posts-per-page for both latest and search to 20.
Added links for all major sections to the sidebar.

Beta Stress Test pt. 1 (AKA "Forced Beta")
The backend of the new beta is pretty much stable, so I've elected to redirect all traffic to the Beta site for the next few hours to see how it holds up. So far it's shitting on wordpress.
Please direct all feedback and complaints to this post.
