Future Site Development

So, it's been almost 7 months since this little project of mine was conceived. The time has come for a long planned and overdue change.

We will be moving away from the shitty wordpress platform we all know and hate. Notwithstanding the fact that it must have been coded by a gimp locked in a jar, it doesn't really deliver what we need in terms of a frontend.

The new site will deliver, amongst other things, easier access to links, community powered content moderation and user submitted links.

There will also be an option for developers with high speed servers to download releases directly from our FTP server, upload them to filehosts of their choosing and then post the links to the site via a developers API.

This is just a brief overview of what is to come. Natually, features will be added as we go along and have awesome ideas.

I don't know why you hate WordPress, I used it few years ago and liked it so much, maybe it become bad with time.

Anyway, I am going to open semi-automatic website for releases soon, not to compete with SDL of course. Just wanted to say that this new idea of developers API will be very great!

That would be great! Are you going to switch to Drupal?
