RSS, Servers and Beta Revisions

We're testing the news system. Comments relating to this post should be submitted here.
  • News posting (with Anonymous commenting) is now enabled.
  • RSS is now enabled and can be found at /RSS.ashx
  • We've ordered a new server from a seperate provider. Some of you may be aware that our current new server was not as awesome as previously anticipated. The network upstream is capped at rougly 500kb/s, which means we've been having to upload on the old server for quite some time.
  • Font sizes have been tweaked so they should be the same size for everybody.

Additionally, work will be starting soon on an open source project called xldr (from the word Transload). Anyone who is skilled enough will be able to contribute. I'll leave it to your own speculations as to what this project will be, although it's pretty obvious. Damn, remind me to add emotes to this editor (INSERT :-P EMOTE).

why is no longer used netload.in and hotfile.com by Autoposter?

Anonymous said...

and again, hotfile.com is no longer used Autoposter..

I belive it´s got something to do with netload.in (sometimes this one goes down) and probably the script skips netload.in and the next in line hotfile.com

Please fix the script or at least make him use along side the rapidshare.com, the hotfile.com mirror..

uploadjockey added to their mirrors the uploadcell.com and sharingbay.com, please adjust it to use these too

Concerning the RSS, are there functions to get feeds for different tags and/or categories (sections) - i.e. RSS.ashx?tag=blabla ? That's the one thing that keeps me from really liking the new format ;)

Would it be possible to make it so that you can search by IMDB url identifier (if that is what they are called)

Eg for temrinator salvation the IMDB url is:
imdb.com/title/tt0438488

So to search you would simply paste tt0438488 into the search bar. This would be helpful because you have so many releases that a keyword search usually turns up LOADS of links.

Ps the site is amazing, keep up the good work.
